What causes weak Wi-Fi signals or dead zones?

Several things can mess with your Wi-Fi, and they’re often right in your home:

  • Other devices (like baby monitors or cordless phones)
  • Thick walls, metal surfaces, even fish tanks!
  • Your neighbour's Wi-Fi overlapping with yours

This is called signal interference, and it’s more common than you’d think. To fix it, try moving your router to a central location, raising it off the floor, or using Wi-Fi extenders or a mesh system.
